Kim was a terrific waiter. Very personable. You can tell she loves to be a waiter, she checks in on you multiple times and makes sure you’re comfortable. It was nice seeing the staff communicate with each other like family. The food on the menu was pretty basic options. But it all tasted great and the view was nice.

The fried shrimp has too much breading but the shrimp itself was big and juicy. The others at the table got the breakfast items and there were no complaints. Except the food wasn't hot. Nice view of the ocean. Server was nice. Price was about 20 bucks a person not bad. I will go there again and get the mushroom swiss burger

We ordered a bottle of wine and sat on the porch outside until the rain started waiting for our friends to arrive. They have a limited covered seating area and plenty of outdoor Tables and chairs with umbrellas. It looks out at the beach and the Atlantic so it’s a wonderful Place to just hang out. We ordered salad with shrimp, fried shrimp with onion rings and the fish basket (Mahi). Everyone loved their meal. My only complaint is they really need to revisit their beer batter that they put in the shrimp because it is too thick and I had to peel It all off to get to the shrimp. The shrimp were large and perfectly cooked but the batter was awful. Locals come here a lot and I can see why. I would suggest they replace their weathered chairs and tables but other than that we had a great time.

First time here. Loved it! Direct ocean view, breeze and energy! Excellent staff; friendly, professional and prompt. Cold beers on tap and my chicken nachos was delicious. A+ and will be back.

Sandbar Grill is a gem right on the ocean, with easy access off A1A—one of the few spots in Fort Lauderdale where you can dine with waves practically at your feet. We visited on a Monday at 8 AM, and it was a perfect start to the day. Our waitress, Kim, was fantastic—super helpful in guiding us to customize our meal just the way we wanted. Her suggestions made all the difference. We ordered the Famous French Toast, which lived up to its name with thick, fluffy slices and a sweet, cinnamon-kissed flavor. The build-your-own omelet with locally sourced tomatoes was a highlight—those tomatoes were ripe, juicy, and bursting with freshness, a testament to their quality. The menu’s simplicity paired with the oceanfront vibe made it feel like a laid-back beach escape. For the first half-hour, we shared the place with just six others, giving it a quiet, intimate feel. By 8:30 AM, it started buzzing with energy. Be ready to chat—this spot has a friendly, communal atmosphere where guests strike up conversations like old friends. It’s part of the charm; breakfast here isn’t just a meal, it’s a social event. The staff’s warmth and the fun, casual vibe make it a standout. If you’re craving a waterfront breakfast with great food and good company, Sandbar Grill delivers. Just get there early if you prefer a quieter start!

Absolutely loved this place. Mama Jackie is a blessing. I just love her and how she caters to guests. Plus, the views are incredible! You're literally right there on the beach. Definitely coming back for more!

We sat outside for breakfast and the view from the restaurant was amazing. It’s not too crowded, perfect chill breakfast spot, if you can bear the heat, otherwise there are some indoor spots/shaded spots. We got a breakfast flatbread with a breakfast burrito which were both amazing. The service was quick and excellent. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Food was pricy, but expected because of location.
